The BMW 5 Series Touring 2010-2011 - launches in September in the UK
After yesterday’s leak of photos of the 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring, we did say BMW would probably get their act together and do the official release this weekend. After all, there’s precious little point not doing so when the information is already roaming the Interweb. BMW obviously concur as we had a 5 Series Touring photo gallery, video and a pile of bumph drop in last night.
Infiniti's doubtless very able - but visually 'Challenged' - 2011 QX56
If you’re reading this from the New World side of the Pond you’ll know exactly what the Infiniti QX is. It’s a full sized SUV from Nissan’s luxury arm Infiniti, aimed right at the North American love of big 4x4s, but also sold in the Middle East and Russia. The current version of the QX56 has been on the market since 2004 and is at the end of its shelf life, with a new 2011 Infiniti QX56 debuting at the New York Motor Show this week.
Having been batted about regarding their fuel-economy claims, Hyundai has decided to use their Super Bowl ad dollars to highlight the raw power of the Sonata Turbo and the Genesis R-Spec sedan. We find the above Sonata ad a whimsical piffle, featuring a couple utilizing their family sedan's turbocharged 2.0L four to handily pass obnoxious/dangerous motorists. We're partial to the whipping, slimy ropes of dog drool.
